What are silicone pasties?

Silicone pasties are reusable, self-adhesive nipple covers that replace a bra under backless, strapless, sheer, or tight outfits. BAREBONE pasties are made from soft, medical-grade silicone that blends into the skin like a second layer, giving seamless coverage without straps, wires, or visible lines.

How do I apply silicone pasties or a silicone bra?

Apply to clean, completely dry skin — free of lotion, oil, soap residue, or perfume. Stand in front of a mirror, position the pastie or cup where you want coverage and lift, then smooth it from the bottom up to remove air bubbles. Press and hold for a few seconds so the adhesive bonds fully.

How do I choose the right size?

Size depends on your breast shape, not just your usual bra size. Wider or fuller shapes need larger coverage; if you have breast ptosis (natural sagging), some styles like the Boobie Trap are not recommended because they're designed for firmer, rounder shapes. If you're unsure, message us before ordering — the wrong fit is the main reason pasties lift or detach.

What's the difference between the Snatched Up and the Boobie Trap?

The Snatched Up is our lifting silicone bra for creating cleavage and shape. The Boobie Trap is designed for fuller, rounder busts and broader chests (fits roughly S–L in EU sizing), giving a gentle natural lift without underwires. Both are adhesive, reusable, and invisible under clothing.

Are BAREBONE pasties sweatproof and waterproof?

Yes — they're designed to stay secure through workouts, humid days, and light water contact. Heavy sweating, chlorine, saltwater, and soap residue reduce adhesion over time, so make sure skin is fully dry before applying and clean the adhesive gently after wear.

How long do silicone pasties last?

Adhesive pasties last up to 120 wears with proper care — but this varies per person. Lint, dust, dry skin, frequent washing, and heavy sweating all wear down the adhesive over time, so the cleaner and drier you keep them, the longer they last. Our No Glue Pasties have no adhesive at all, so with basic care they can last for years — many customers use theirs indefinitely.

How do I clean and store them?

Keep in mind that every wash gradually wears down the adhesive — so only wash your pasties when they actually need it, not after every wear. Rinse gently with water and mild soap only — avoid bar soaps, moisturizing soaps, antibacterial soaps, and anything scented or with oils. Air-dry adhesive-side up, put the original plastic film back on, and store flat away from heat.

Are they safe for sensitive skin?

BAREBONE uses medical-grade silicone and adhesive. Skin reactions are rare, but if you have very sensitive skin or a history of adhesive allergies, test on a small area first and discontinue use if you notice irritation.

Can I wear them under backless or sheer outfits?

Yes — that's exactly what they're made for. Pasties and adhesive silicone bras are the standard bra alternative for backless dresses, halter necks, deep necklines, sheer tops, and white or thin fabrics where a normal bra would show.

Are pasties a good alternative to a traditional bra?

For outfits where a bra shows or feels bulky, yes. They give coverage and a smooth silhouette with total freedom of movement. They're not a support replacement for high-impact sport, but for everyday and occasion wear many customers prefer them.

Do you ship within Germany and the EU?

Yes — barebone.store serves Germany, the EU, and international orders. Orders ship from Germany via DHL. Delivery within Germany usually takes 1–2 business days, and standard delivery elsewhere in the EU takes roughly 2–7 business days depending on the country. International orders outside the EU (e.g. USA, UK, Canada) typically take 7–20 business days, and customs clearance in the destination country can add extra time.

Can I return or exchange my order?

No — for hygiene reasons, all sales of undergarments are final. We don't accept returns or exchanges, so please check the sizing guidance above or contact us before ordering.
